There was a point in my life here where I was so hyperfixated on trying to get everything together that my entire explore page and feed was just home inspo videos. For a while I was so focused on wanting everything to look like a home that I forgot to appreciate the actual feeling of home. This place felt like home way before all the furniture. This place already felt like home even when we had the air mattress in the corner of the floor. But creating this feeling of home would never be there if it wasn’t for the MVP @miaamposta she really brought the warmth into the space and made it feel like home more than ever. When I left Winnipeg I thought that I’d never get to experience the same feeling of home that I had living with my family. But after being here for 2 years I learned to build a family here. From our building receptionists, to our maintenance guys, to our neighbours, to the random ppl I see at the gym everyday, this feeling of community is family. Anytime I look at a wall, or any nook, corner or even the fridge, I see memories and feel a warm feeling of nostalgia knowing that this space was genuinely lived in and loved. . #dream #25dreamsbefore25 #Home #cinematography #interiordesign less
