For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” This is the kind of joy the angels were talking about. Not fleeting happiness. Not circumstantial comfort. But great joy. Everlasting joy. Joy that steps into a broken world and brings hope, redemption, and peace. Jesus didn’t come to make life feel heavier or more restricted. He came to give us life — real life, abundant life. And in Him, we don’t just survive… we actually come alive. True joy isn’t found in chasing what the world promises will satisfy us. It’s found in knowing the One who created us and staying close to Him. In His presence is the fullness of joy. And purity is the path to His presence. Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God." Purity has never been God trying to withhold something good from us. It’s always been His invitation to give us something better. A free life. A clear mind. A satisfied heart. A life not tangled up in things that steal our joy or distract us from true joy. This Advent season, may we remember that joy isn’t something we manufacture. It’s a gift. And His name is Jesus. 🤍 Click the link in my bio to order my new book, Dare to Be True! less
