"We connected at the bar in the back of the [Oscars] party and spent the next tew hours inseparable," Drew tells Vogue. "Six months later, I wrote a song called 'Summertime Friends' about these couple of hours." The couple decided to get married on December 28, 2025, at the Blue Mist Hotel in Santa Theresa, Costa Rica-" our favorite place we have discovered together, shares Drew. Mari adds, "We chose one of the most beautiful backdrops we could think of, which allowed us to curate a blend of the natural beauty of the tropical west coast of Costa Rica with timeless details."
