This race is at your own pace and the deadline is February 15th to register. You will receive a bib, a metal ( receive after submitting times), and can purchase a shirt that will arrive in time for the race. The tshirts and bibs will be shipped before hand which is why the deadline is February 15th so they can get it to you to wear for the race itself. I have been diagnosed since 2019 and I have friends I have met and love dearly who have Ms now including my mom. You can pick your pace and will have from March 8-14 th to send in your miles and how long it took you to finish. This is an AT YOUR PACE race. Do it at home, a gym, walk a mall. Remember a 5k is 3.1 miles with the average person walking between 1.5 to 2.5 miles a day. A 10k is 6.2 miles which can be tough for those who struggle but remember it is a walk/run event which means PACE yourself. For more experienced there is the choice of a Half marathon is 13.1 miles. My goal is to complete the 10k and if any of my friends would be willing to join me, you can be on a completely different mile goal and we can even be on a team.
