Earth's water is billions of years old, and we’re still using that same water today. There's no new supply. Just recycling what we’ve always had. In cities like Sydney, the average person uses around 200 litres of drinking-quality water every day — for showers, cooking, cleaning, and more. Multiply that by millions of people… and it adds up fast. And when we waste it through leaks, long showers, inefficient watering, or even a dripping tap, that can waste thousands of litres a month. The good news: small changes make a big difference. Shorter showers. Fixing leaks. Turning taps off. Smarter water use outdoors. Because every drop you use has a story that began in space. So next time you take a sip… remember: There’s no refill button. @Sydney Water #EarthScience #Sustainability #SaveWater #Science less
