This is a custom crochet pickle plush commission someone asked me to make after seeing my fiber art in person. Handmade crochet produce is apparently my destiny now and honestly I’m not mad about it. There is something deeply satisfying about turning a pile of yarn into a goofy little vegetable plushie. Moments like this are why I love doing handmade markets and running a small art business. People discover your work, get excited about crochet plushies, handmade fiber art, and weird little crochet vegetables, and suddenly you’re making a pickle for someone’s collection. Now I’m thinking I might need to make an entire crochet farmers market lineup… pickles, carrots, blueberries, maybe even a cucumber army. Would you commission a crochet vegetable?
