We live in a… more Why self-defence laws frustrate so many people. Imagine telling people they couldn't carry anything specifically for protection throughout history. We live in a civil society now, right? Have we not progressed past that as human beings? Imagine living in that imaginary utopia. Under the law, you can't carry anything specifically intending it for protection - that intent can turn an everyday item into a weapon. Is that even fair? Does that read too much like people are just supposed to accept being sitting ducks? This is not legal advice. I'm sharing observations and real-world experience.
