The long wait times are worth it, but I highly recommend getting there as early as possible. The first time I tried, I was quoted nearly a two-hour wait and ended up going somewhere else. The house-made pasta was cooked al dente, and the sauces were light but still full of flavor. I especially loved the level of spice they incorporated into the dishes. I had the ragu with pappardelle, braised pork shoulder, and tomato, while Ben got the alla vodka. Both were incredible, but the ragu really stood out to me. My martini was unfortunately a miss, but they comped it and offered a glass of wine instead, which was incredible. The fresh bread is a must. You also have to order the broccolini. The patatas bravas and bruschetta are good, but not essential compared to the other standouts. Things I wish I tried (and will 100% be ordering next time): the meatballs and burrata with a side of the focaccia… which is already a must-have, but somehow deserves to be ordered twice. #PDXFood #FoodPortland #PDXEats #PortlandEats #PDXFoodie less
