A high factor sunscreen is essential for mature skin - especially those of us using at-home beauty devices in our regular routines. This is a ranked list of my top 10 tinted mineral sunscreens. Tinted mineral sunscreen is a MUST for my melasma-prone skin. It was really hard to order them since I love them all for various reasons and rotate through them based on coverage, formula, etc. None of them have any white cast and I normally wear them on their own, unless I have a melasma flare up, in which case I may use a little foundation/concealer as needed. Note that if you’re worried about getting enough SPF coverage, you could wear a layer of thin mineral SPF underneath - that’s what I do as needed. And I always carry my @MDSolarSciencesSkin tinted matte mineral SPF stick to reapply sunscreen every couple of hours during the day. 1. @Odacite Tinted Mineral Drops SPF 50 Flex-Prefecting with Niacinamide + Green Tea. So easy to apply with just your fingers and the perfect coverage for my pigment. This is the easiest formula to apply and wear! 2. @Ciele Cosmetics tint & PROTECT serum foundation with SPF 50. The formula is lightweight and beautiful, and feels the most like makeup of all the sunscreens on this list. It’s 2 on the list because I have to mix 2 shades to get my perfect shade. 3. @Colorescience Total Protection Face Shield Flex SPF 50. This one goes on white and adjusts to your skin tone as your blend it in. It’s so cool to watch and looks beautiful on the skin. I have oily/combination skin, so sometimes it feels heavy on my skin, especially in the Summer. 4. @Beauty of Joseon Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen SPF 40. The most affordable option. Very lightweight and easy to apply with your fingers. The coverage is very light though so you might need foundation/concealer on top. 5. @ILIA Beauty Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 with niacinamide, squalane, and hyaluronic acid. I just started using this one and wow I love it! It feels so luxe and hydrating with ample coverage. 6. @Iris&Romeo Weekend Skin SPF 50 Natural Glow with Vitamin C + Niacinamide. I love that this one has vitamin C for extra protection during the day. Sometimes it can look too “glowy” since I have an oily T-zone, but it’s great for days when my skin feels a little dry. 7. @livetinted Hueguard Skin Tint SPF 50. This is another new one I have been testing. I am so impressed by the lightweight formula and ample coverage. 8. @Versed Skin Multi-Serum Skin Tint SPF 40. I really love this one for days when I want a little more coverage. It feels thicker than the higher ranked ones on this list, but it blends in beautifully. It took a few tries to find my perfect shade for this one. 9. @YENSA Beauty Skin on Skin BB+CC SPF 40 with hyaluronic acid, 8 SuperBlacks Essence and Peptides. I love using this one when I want more of a “foundation” look. It has really good coverage and makes my skin feel so good. 10. @MERIT Beauty The Uniform SPF 45. I really like this one, but I don’t think I have found my perfect shade yet, which is why I don’t use it more often. The formula is gorgeous and I love how it looks on my skin. I’d like to try more shades and try to find my perfect match. @sephora #beautybeyond40 #mineralsunscreen #tintedspf #sunscreen #top10 less
