Their skill is being themselves on camera. That's not the same thing as speaking with another brand's voice. When you're interviewing, stop asking how many followers they have. Ask this instead: Show me results you've got for a brand that wasn't your own. Walk me through a strategy you built for a client. What would you do in the first 30 days if I hired you tomorrow. If they can only talk about their own page, that's a content creator, not a social media manager. Both are valuable. They're not the same thing. less
