Ingredients * 1 lb hot Italian sausage * 2 large gold potatoes, diced * 1 small Vidalia onion, diced * 1 tbsp chopped garlic * 3+ cups chopped kale * 1 cup chicken broth * 1/2 cup heavy cream * 2 tbsp Calabrian peppers (or to taste) * Garlic powder * Onion powder * Spicy Italian seasoning * Salt * Black pepper * Parmesan cheese (measure with your heart) * Crumbled bacon for topping Directions 1. Brown the hot Italian sausage in a large skillet until crispy. 2. Add potatoes, onion, and garlic. Season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, spicy Italian seasoning, salt, and lots of black pepper. 3. Add the chopped kale, pour in chicken broth, stir in the Calabrian peppers, and mix everything together. 4. Cover and cook until the potatoes are fork tender and the kale softens down, stirring occasionally. 5. Add heavy cream and a generous handful of parmesan. Stir until creamy and combined. 6.
